Technical Details

The QuData team created a special visual chatbot building platform - QuBot. Its simple web interface allows even beginners to easily create smartbots of varying complexity.

For the QuBot platform was developed QuScriptNLU - an innovative scripting language. Due to it users can create conversational chatbots simultaneously in several languages. QuScriptNLU consists of its own NLU module and logical dialog support module. This way chatbot can recognize intentions and highlight entities to produce more accurate and appropriate responses during interactions and guide customers on the dialogue topics.

The server based core was designed in Python. To provide local work the chatbot builder was written in JavaScript. For UI foundation our team chose to use React-Bootstrap as one of the most popular front-end frameworks.

It was also decided to provide for chatbots the possibility of voice recognition as a convenient way to maintain communication. This way smartbots are able to recognize voice messages, understand their meanings and generate appropriate responses in a voice mode. Developed technology applies both Speech-to-text (STT) and Text-to-speech (TTS) models. We used Kaldi and Vosk as speech recognition toolkits and integrated Google Speech services and Silero for voice generation. For the project implementation were applied popular messengers as well as VoIP technology.
